“Breathe, my friend. You are not old, you are young. You are not a mess, you are normal. Extraordinary, perhaps. In the blink of an eye you life will change. And it will continue to change for decades to come. Enjoy it, embrace it…be grateful for the ride. You are not old, you are young. And faith will get you everywhere. Just you wait.” – Abby Larson
With the weekend of love fast approaching, I wanted to throw out a little something as to what I am doing this weekend (gifts & activities).
One of the most difficult tasks for me is to relax my mind. In university, it would take me over 2hrs+ to fall asleep because I just couldn’t shut off my mind. I always used those moments before bed as “my time”. Similar to being in the showing, the moments before sleep were one of the very few guiltless times in the day when I could think about what ever I wanted. I am by no means advocating this because, trust me, this much thinking at once is unhealthy. When your thoughts are so numerous that you can’t fall asleep, you are not doing any favors for your mind or body.
“We try to hide our feelings, but we forget that our eyes speak.”
Months ago I stumbled across this piece on Pinterest. From the moment I saw it, I knew I had to create something similar to this. Since there are SO many false lashes in the market, I will inevitably be making another one…and possibly another one! Sometimes I just can’t handle the beauty of false lashes; each pair tells a story!! Don’t you agree?!?
It took me time to decide on the lashes (thank you Halloween), and then even more time to find a frame with depth. Why is it that when you need a specific type of frame, it all of a sudden cannot be found anywhere?!?
